This was such a exciting project! My clients had the ultimate Christmas gift idea for their son, Deklan…to remodel his bedroom! We met and they shared their vision for a fun and inviting space where he could play for hours without getting easily bored. With that, I created a mood board that was just perfect for what Deklan had always wanted. We created the perfect space for his toys, games and entire collection of Legos. We also created a cool, interactive area where he can play live games with his friends. Creating an accent wall widened our small room and gave the illusion of a bigger space. Time was of the essence and in a matter of one week, we were able to complete Deklan’s new play space just in time for Christmas! My clients were ecstatic since they had planned to surprise him with Santa’s gift before they got back from Christmas vacation. It was certainly a challenge, especially during the pandemic, to order and get all the pieces and furniture to arrive on time, but our team came through and made it happen! Definitely a fun project that had two things I love…a little challenge and working as Santa’s Elf, of course.
